If you need to bring an appetizer to a party but don’t have a lot of time or culinary skills (so me) then check out this taco dip recipe. Very few ingredients and the only skill required is mixing with a spoon. I promise you can make this look easy!
I bring this to most of the parties I go to because 1. it’s easy and 2. everyone always love it! I almost always bring back an empty casserole dish.
There’s not much to it and it’s certainly not fancy, but it’s a perfect dip recipe to bring a party with friends! Bring some chips and this dip and you will be a hit!
Easy Peasy Taco Dip
- 1 8oz pkg cream cheese softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, whatever you like)
- 2 16oz cans refried beans
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix softened cream cheese and sour cream together in a medium bowl (this is my favorite mixing bowl set).
Add sour cream and mix that up as well.
Mix in taco seasoning.
Dump the refried beans in and mix everything up. Try to get most of the big clumps out as best you can, but small clumps are just fine to have.
Spray a 9X13 casserole dish and dump the mixture in and spread it around. Toss the cheese on top.
Put in oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese starts to get bubbly.
