I love having quick dinner options for my busy weeknights and this oven baked ham slider recipe is perfect. On the weekend I can SOMETIMES spend more than 30 minutes in the kitchen and put something delicious together. But during the week I just don’t want to take the time to do it.
My kids still have early bed times which means there isn’t a ton of time after they get home from school and we start the 5-hour process of getting them in bed, so I’d rather spend my evening with them instead of being stuck in the kitchen cooking.
Back to this ham slider recipe. This one is so easy! The melted butter mixture that goes on top of the rolls gives the outsides a little crispness to it and the insides are all melty and cheesy. So good!
This recipe is also perfect for parties and hosting large numbers because you get a lot of bang for your buck. Enjoy!
Oven Baked Ham Sliders
- 1 TBSP dried minced onions
- 2 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 splash of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 dozen dinner rolls I used King's Hawiian
- 1 cup mayo
- 1/2-3/4 lb ham I like black forest
- 12 slices cheese swiss or provalone
Preheat oven to 350°. In a small mixing bowl mix onion, mustard, Worcestershire, and melted butter.
Leaving the dinner rolls intact, slice them open so that you have one solid top and bottom. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet or casserole dish. Spread rolls (top and bottom) with mayo. Line the bottom half of the rolls with ham and cheese. Return the top part of the rolls and brush the butter mixture evenly over top.
Cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes or till warmed through. Separate with a sharp knife and serve.
