I’m not a big meat eater (which my husband can’t quite grasp come grilling season) but I will eat a good pork chop. And this crock pot pork chops recipe is perfect for me because the soups make a nice creamy sauce that I can smother my chops in.
Plus, this recipe could not get any easier. Just mix the soups up, add the chops to the crock pot, dump the soup over them and cook! It’s that simple. Before you take the pork chops out to serve, whip up some mashed potatoes (and by whip, I mean use instant mashed potatoes :). Serve the chops on the potatoes and dig in!
Crock Pot Smothered Pork Chops
- 4 pork chops
- 1 10.75 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 10.75 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 7oz can mushrooms, drained, or use fresh
- 3/4 cup water
- salt and pepper
- Instant mashed potatoes
Place pork chops in cooker and season with salt and pepper.
In a large bowl mix both condensed soups, onion soup mix packet, mushrooms, and water. Mix well.
Pour mixture over pork chops. Cook on high 4-5 hours or on low for 7 to 8 hours.
Serve over instant mashed potatoes and throw the gravy on top!
